Meeting with attorney Blackley resulted in some clarification of various legal matters:

  • Any Deed Restriction changes cannot go into effect until January 01, 2009.
  • Additional $1.00 fee added in 2002 is voluntary.
  • Changes to Deed Restrictions voted only by Land Owner, regardless of size or number of lots owned.
  • Membership in the LCPOA is voluntary.

Latest news on road rebuilding.

Rain in the Victoria area has slowed Jim Shelton's work there, and he will not be able to resume work on our roads in February as he previously estimated. He states that his crew has only been able to work 6 days during January, and he is not able to estimate when our work will resume. He is committed to completing work on our roads though and states “Please know that I am doing my best to get back to you”. I suppose all we can do to speed restarting our road work is to hope for dry weather for Victoria which does not need more rain.

Latest news on road rebuilding.

Here is the latest on the roads.  The high pressure manifold needed to fix the Iron Wolf rock crusher is still on order, and we have no information when it is due to be delivered.  Jim Shelton, our road contractor, estimates that he will be able to resume work on our roads the last week in February assuming the Iron Wolf will be back in commission by then.
